The Cibao Giants sign nine players in free agency after completing the 2022 rookie draft, including six pitchers, two infielders and one catcher.

Leury Tejeda,Right-handed pitcher born in Santiago, he belongs to the Texas Rangers, where he worked in Class A and A+ during 2022, going 7-5, with a 4.98 ERA in 37 games as a reliever.

He worked in 72.1 innings, where he allowed 79 hits, granting 27 walks and struck out 77 batters leaving his WHIP at 1.47

Oliver Garcia,San Francisco de Macoris-born 24-year-old right-hander who missed much of the season in the minor leagues but wound up working at the AA level with the Pirates.

In three games as a reliever he pitched 4.0 three-hit innings, walking two and striking out six batters.

He went 0-1 with a 1.82 ERA in 26 games as a reliever, posted three HLDs in 29.2 innings of work, where he allowed 25 hits, walked 28 and struck out 35 batters with a 1.79 WHIP.

Jheyson Manzuetathis 32-year-old veteran right-hander, had already been drafted in 2013 by the Cibao Giants, he was even briefly on the team during the 2014-15 season, he is back with a new opportunity.

Two infielders
