British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak has said that the so-called ‘golden era’ of relations with China is over.

He said that there is no doubt that no matter how long this war takes, we will stand with Ukraine until that time. We will maintain our military aid and we will continue to provide Ukraine with new support for air defense.
Rishi Sonik further said that Britain needs to adopt the same long-term strategy as its adversaries and rivals Russia and China.
It should be remembered that last year as the finance minister, he emphasized on a strategy regarding China on human rights concerns along with expanding economic relations.
However, the scheduled meeting between Sonic and Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Bali this month was cancelled.
