Boya Wins F3 Victory in Montmeló

Following Pepe Martí’s departure from Campos, Mari Boya stepped in and dominated the Spanish F3 sprint event at Montmeló. From the start, Boya seized the lead after the two Tridents of Meguetounif and Ramos collided, and he never relinquished it throughout the race.

Boya, familiar with the track and with the ideal set-up of his car, held off attacks from Dunne and Goethe until an accident involving Sebastián Montoya and Gabriele Minì forced the race to end with the safety car just two laps from the finish.

Boya crossed the finish line victorious, dedicating the win to the late Adrián Campos with a gesture of gratitude. This was Boya’s first win in the category, and the third consecutive victory for a Spanish driver at Montmeló in this category, following David Vidales in 2022 and Martí in 2023.

This triumph for the three-time Spanish karting champion and F4 runner-up moves him to eighth place in the standings with 40 points, 32 behind leader Miní, who was injured in today’s race.
