The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has banned Umrah pilgrims from performing more than one Umrah during Ramadan.

According to Arab media, the authorities say that no person is allowed to perform Umrah more than once during Ramadan, all people should perform Umrah only once, give others the opportunity to perform Umrah.

According to Akaz newspaper, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said in a statement that by restricting Umrah once in Ramadan, others will be able to have the opportunity to perform Umrah with satisfaction and ease.

Officials say that those who want to perform Umrah should obtain a permit through the ‘Nask app’ and adhere to the timings.

In a statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, it has been said that there is no capacity to modify the fixed date and time of Umrah in the system. If so, they have to cancel the permit.

Officials said that the cancellation process can be done before the period of the permit starts, after canceling the permit, a new permit should be issued.

The ministry also says that if there is no time to issue a new permit after canceling the Umrah permit, do not be discouraged but continue trying.
