National boxing is mourning the death of photographer Ramón Cairo, a behind-the-scenes history of Argentine boxing, who died at the age of 61 after suffering cardiac arrest.
“Friend of his friends and loved by every journalist, boxer, photographer, referee, judge, promoter, manager and spectator who has ever attended a boxing festival and exchanged words with him”, dedicated the emblematic First Class Boxing by way of farewell.
Born in Entre Ríos, Cairo was an official photographer for places like notification and the magazine Ring Sidewhile he was producer of the program “Ring Side en el Aire”, with the emblematic Carlos Irusta and Juan Lerena.
In addition, he founded the brand of clothing and accessories for boxers called “RSC in combat”.
