The Unified Council of Distribution Companies (CUED) appointed this Friday Andrés Julio Portes as new general manager of Empresa Distribuidora del Este (Edeeste), one of the distributors with the most complaints from their customers and registers high energy losses.
The new general manager of Edeeste He is an industrial engineer by profession and has more than 25 years of experience in the sector.. He has held positions such as: manager of Edesur Sector San Cristóbal; Planning and Maintenance Manager; general manager and founder of the company GEISA, an engineering and maintenance services firm in the industry.
In addition, it has vast experience in the development and implementation of new eco-sustainable technologies for the power generation industry.
Together with the engineer Portes, Manuel Naut was also appointed as Senior Operational Director for the East.
The swearing-in ceremony for the new positions was held at the Edeeste corporate office facilities, in the Megacentro shopping mall, and was attended by Manuel Lara, president of CUED, Bienvenido Mejía, member of the Unified Council, the corporate director of Council Purchasing and Contracting, Stephanie Baldisseri, among other directors of the distribution company and special guests.
