Apparently, Apple is already in the testing phase of the next iPad and iPhone SE models that are expected to be announced at the spring conference.
Now the prices at which the equipment can reach the market have been revealed and the news is encouraging with more affordable versions of both the smartphone and the Apple tablet.
iPhone SE could arrive with a price of 300 dollars
According to a news item released today by the 91Mobiles website, Apple has already shipped its new versions of the iPad tablet and iPhone SE to India for testing on the equipment.
According to industry sources, iPhone models now have the numbers A2595, A2783, and A2784. And today the possible price at which this version of Apple’s smartphone could reach the market was also announced. Ready? the affordable version of the iPhone can cost around $300, or about €270.
Taking into account that the iPhone 13 mini is currently available in Portugal from 829 euros and the iPhone 13 from 929 euros, this SE version will hit the market at a very affordable price.
Although it is a conversion from dollars to euros and, therefore, the cost will very possibly be higher, it will surely not be very close to the values ​​that are practiced with the models now available.
However, taking into account previous news that Apple could have delayed the launch of the iPhone SE until 2023, some analysts say that the model brought to India for testing could be the iPhone SE Plus. But it is likely that this issue will be cleared up soon and we will be able to understand after all which affordable iPhone model Apple will launch in the spring.
Apple iPad with prices ranging from $300 to $700
The same sources also report that the new iPad models have also been tested and mention that the tablets will be available in two versions: one with Wi-Fi only and one with Wi-Fi and mobile communications.
One of these models will most likely be the iPad Air 5, which will hit the market with prices between 500 and 700 dollars, that is, between 445 and 620 euros. The economic version of the iPad will have the same cost as the iPhone SE, that is, 300 dollars – 270 euros.
Once again, these values ​​result from the conversion of dollars to euros, so users should consider that the cost of the equipment will be a little higher, as is always the case.
Specifications expected in Apple iPhone SE 2022
However, some of the specs we can expect to see on this affordable version of Apple’s smartphone have already been revealed. Thus, the model may be equipped with a 4.7-inch Retina HD LCD screen and support for 5G communications.
It’s equally likely to have a home button with a built-in fingerprint sensor. By the way, this may be the last smartphone from Apple to integrate the home button and an LCD screen.
At the controls of the iPhone SE 2022 will be the Apple A15 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. The SE Plus version can expand the RAM memory to 4 GB.
Finally, in terms of optics, the model is expected to have a 12-megapixel sensor on the rear panel and bring with it optimized photography functions.
