Apple will officially introduce iOS 16 at its WWDC22 conference this June.

But until then, we can count on plenty of online reveals about the new OS. And now the design of the page that supposedly has iOS 16 has been released, as well as a new feature, called InfoShack, that all users will like.

The InfoShack functionality could be one of the novelties of iOS 16

EXCLUSIVE: A more compact version of “InfoShack” is also in the works. A few variants are being considered and I can’t confirm which, if any, will end up in the final version of iOS 16. I’ll keep you posted. pic.twitter.com/CAd8YWnStz

It will be in June of this year, at its WWDC22 conference, that Apple will officially present iOS 16. Quite possibly, only later will users have access to the stable version of the new operating system, as Apple has been doing.
But some revelations are beginning to emerge in the web world that slightly lift the veil on what is coming from the Cupertino company.

Now the leaker LeaksApplePro has released the design of a web page that is supposed to be from iOS 16. And we can see, through the screenshots, that the widgets of the new OS will be updated with richer features.

Let’s start with the big news revealed by the aforementioned leaker called InfoShack. With this feature, users can access contact information directly on the desktop. More: The functionality also allows you to adjust the brightness of the screen and even turn on the flashlight right away. In other words, this feature saves users a few steps to access some of the available options.

These Apple terminals will receive the iOS 16 update

Apple iPhone SE
iPhone SE model may not get iOS 16 update, especially if Apple releases SE 2022 version for its flagship smartphone

However, it was also revealed which models will support the new iOS 16. According to the iPhonesoft website, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPhone SE models will not receive the iOS 16 update.

Following this logic, iPhone SE 2022 and iPhone 7 and higher models will have access to the new iOS 16 operating system.
If this information is confirmed, we can infer that iOS 16 needs the A10 chip as a minimum hardware specification.

On the other hand, we also realize that Apple manages to give its terminals an extraordinarily long life.
Take, for example, the iPhone 6s and iPhone SE which were released in 2015 and 2016, respectively, and will only now stop receiving updates to remain “active”.

And it seems that Apple also has plans to continue releasing security patches and support for previous versions of iOS, in order to maintain this strategy of extending the life of Apple terminals.
