Apple started selling on your website a cleaning cloth for 25 euros. The cloth itself is white and has the Apple logo engraved in one corner, but its dimensions aren’t detailed.
As indicated on the product page, this cloth can be used on any Apple screen, including the nano-textured glass in the Pro Display XDR.
The cleaning cloth is made with a “Soft and non-abrasive material” and, according to the company, “It leaves all screens on Apple devices intact, including nano-textured glass.”
Although users can use this cloth to wipe any screen, it seems to be especially suitable for Pro Display XDR users. Apple specifically advises users not to use any type of cloth on the Nanotexture Pro Display XDR, except the one that comes with the monitor.
So far, Apple did not sell these cleaning cloths on its website, instead, users had to specifically request them from Apple support.
Nanotexture monitors feature special nano-grade glass engraving that provides a high-quality matte finish that reduces reflections and maintains image quality. According to Apple, it may be damaged by other cleaning cloths.
To remove dust or smudges from the textured nano glass screen, use only the cleaning cloth that came with your iMac or Pro Display XDR screen.
