Australian cricket legend Andrew Symonds was killed in a road accident on Saturday. His car had an accident in Townsville, his home state of Queensland, in which he could not be saved. Symonds, who was part of the World Cup-winning team, was 46 years old. There was a wave of mourning in the cricket world due to his death. Many players could not believe the news of his passing.

Andrew Symonds has been one of the world’s greatest all-rounders. Along with cricket, he also tried his hand at the world of entertainment. Simmonds was a part of the reality show Bigg Boss and also starred in the 2011 film Patiala House with Akshay Kumar, Rishi Kapoor, and Anushka Sharma.

Patiala House was a film based on cricket, in which Akshay Kumar played the character of a fast bowler inspired by Monty Panesar. In this film, Symonds appeared in his own character. Namely, he played the role of the Australian cricketer Symonds. In addition to him, Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait also appeared in the film. This movie was directed by Nikhil Advani.
