Advisory issued for travelers traveling to Dubai

Dubai: Tourists from all over the world are flocking here due to the high volume of Dubai Expo, in which the airport authorities have made a big announcement for the convenience of passengers.

A statement from Emirates said more than 190,000 passengers would have to travel through Terminal 3 this weekend before the Dubai International School’s mid-term break.

The statement said that more than 430,000 passengers will travel on Emirates flights during the same period, mainly due to the expo holidays in Dubai.

The Emirates said that check-in counters will be open 24 hours before the flight from Dubai and passengers can check in 24 hours before departure for their flights and leave their luggage 24 hours before departure.

Passengers are instructed to ensure prompt verification of documents at the check-in counter and arrive at the airport four hours early to avoid rush, passengers arriving one hour before the departure of their scheduled flight. They will not be allowed to travel.

Check-in counters for travelers to the United States open twelve hours before the flight.

A statement issued by Emirates added that passengers who choose to check online from 48 hours to 90 minutes in advance are reminded that they need to submit their boarding pass and arrive at the destination country. Visit the Emirates check-in counter to verify travel documents.

In addition, passengers can take advantage of the facility of self-check-in and bag drop kiosk to reduce their waiting time.

Passengers are advised to check for updates on the UAE airline’s website for a hassle-free travel experience.

On the other hand, Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi International Airport have also announced that they are expecting a large number of passengers this week after a six-month period.
