Actress Natalie Desselle Reid died on Monday morning (7) from colon cancer. The news was first given by his family on their social networks and details confirmed by the TMZ site.
“It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beautiful Natalie this morning from colon cancer. She was a bright light in this world. A queen. An extraordinary mother and wife. Her diverse career touched so many and she will be loved forever. Naturally, we are grieving and processing this profound loss and we thank you in advance for respecting our privacy at this extremely difficult time”, says the statement posted on her profile.
According to TMZ, Natalie discovered the disease earlier this year and was under treatment for the past few days, having died alongside her family. The last photo of Natalie posted on social media is from March 1st.
The actress was best known for her role as Mickey Mouse in the 1997 comedy Rich and Glorious, in which she starred alongside Halle Berry. She also starred in the sitcom Eve for three years as Jenie Egins.
