A Nintendo fan spends €40,000 worth of stock to ask this question at the shareholders meeting

A Nintendo fan spent over 5.6 million Japanese yen (about €40,000) on Nintendo shares.

The purpose of this purchase was none other than to be able to ask a question during the annual shareholders meeting from the Japanese gaming giant on Wednesday about a fan-favorite series she wants to see revived.

The fan asked Nintendo’s president if the company had considered relaunching any fan-favorite game franchises, specifically “F-Zero”a series of racing games we haven’t seen since 2004.

“It is very difficult to develop new titles and remakes, including sequels, for all the Nintendo games that people request, but we are very grateful and appreciate the expectations our fans have for our games,” he replied.

the fan bought 100 shares at 56,430 yen per sharen (about 400 euros per share) in February after selling its shares in another company.

After purchasing a unit of shares (100 shares), he was given the opportunity to attend the general meeting, but it was not guaranteed that he could ask a question. Lucky for him he made it.
