A 41-year-old woman has been accused of hitting another woman with her automobile and flee from the place. The victim, 49 years old, was driving a car motorcycle and she was transferred and ventilated with “severe multiple trauma,” the Maldonado headquarters report said.
The event occurred on Thursday, April 18, at 7:00 a.m. at the intersection of Zelmar Michelini and Héctor Gutiérrez Ruiz in Maldonado.
After the investigation, the police arrived at the driver of the car and took her to a police station. There it was found that he had 1.58 grams of alcohol per liter of blood.
The alleged offense is serious negligent bodily harm in fact repeated, with an offense of failure to cooperate as the perpetrator.
As a precautionary measure, the woman had to provide an address, submit her address to the police once a week, confiscate her driver’s license and ban her from driving a motor vehicle for 90 days.
