2Game Esports just scored a major win against LOUD in the VALORANT Champions Tour Américas. But here’s the twist – they had a new player on board, Joshua “PxS” Brunelli, who joined just before the match.
PxS used to play as a duelist, but now he’s the team’s official initiator. In a post-game interview, he shared some interesting facts about his experience. When asked about his win and adapting to a new style, PxS said he’s been working towards moments like this since VALORANT launched.
“I’ve been working since the launch of VALORANT to be in moments like this, so I’m just going to enjoy it. I’ve known them for a day, I came to add and make a difference in the server. I didn’t even play initiator in ranked, I was up till 2 am yesterday wondering if I’d remember,”
PxS commented.
As it turns out, PxS was so new to the initiator role that he didn’t even play it in ranked matches. A tweet from MrRogério summed it up:

The best-of-three match ended 2-0 in favor of 2Game, who will now face KRÜ Esports on April 5th at 6 pm (Brasília time) on the official VALORANT Esports BR channels on Twitch and YouTube.
