We are approximately in the middle of 2022, but some media are already beginning to talk about products that will only debut on the market next year. One of these cases will be the new range of Xiaomi Redmi K60 tops.
Although its presentation date is still unknown, part of its hardware is undoubtedly for the renowned Digital Chat Station. Through social networks, this recognized filter points out the first details of the Redmi K60.
Redmi K60 will use processors from Qualcomm and MediaTek
As previously anticipated, the Chinese company will use processors from MediaTek and Qualcomm. Some of the best components offered by both companies will be used.
Digital Chat Station takes the existence of Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60 Gaming Edition for granted. These will be the direct successors to the corresponding models from the current Redmi K50 lineup.
These three devices will be powered by Dimensity 8200 processor, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Two of them will be announced in late 2022 or early 2023 while one of them is already on the market.
Although nothing is guaranteed, it is plausible that the Redmi K60 will arrive equipped with the Dimensity 8200. Its Pro variant will feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and the gaming version will be entitled to Qualcomm’s next big processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
By opting for three different processors, Redmi will be able to position the three models of the Redmi K60 lineup in different market segments. A strategy already applied by the brand this year and that is giving good results.
The same Digital Chat Station claims that these models will have screens with a small hole in the center for the front camera. The resolution of it should go up to 2K.
Note also for the use of a 50 MP sensor in the photographic set of the Redmi K60. The charging speeds of your batteries will be 100W.
