Information leaks about the successor to the Xiaomi POCO F3 continue. This was one of the best value for money smartphones of 2021, but Xiaomi is already hard at work on what will be its successor.
Xiaomi will launch Redmi K50 Gaming and Redmi K50 Gaming Pro in China in February. But Xiaomiui claims that, globally, one of these smartphones will be the basis for the POCO F4 GT, which will have similar specifications.
The latest novelty was the passing of the POCO F4 GT through the IMEI database. This Thursday the smartphone was ‘captured’ on that platform with model number ‘21121210G’. And this publication leaves the idea of when the smartphone can be launched.
According to the source, after this information is released, the smartphone will be released in no more than one to two months. And based on the specifications of the Redmi K50 Pro, we can get a good idea of what to expect from the POCO F4 GT.
Information leaks point to a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, and will be accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage in the base version.
It is still expected with a 64 MP main camera, accompanied by an 8 MP ultra wide and 2 MP macro lens. The front camera will be 16 MP, and it will be placed in a central punch.
The source also mentions that the smartphone will support Dual-SIM, Bluetooth 5.2, fingerprint sensor on the side, and face unlock.
