In recent times, Xiaomi’s MIJIA line for the home has been growing exponentially and today this family has gained one more element. This is the new MIJIA Ultra air purifier that has a very effective seven-layer purification system to clean the air.
According to data released by the Chinese brand, the new equipment provides a virus removal rate of 99.99% and a formaldehyde removal rate of 99.05%. All thanks to its four-leaf clover design that allows operation to be mirrored in a four-sided curved flow.
The new purifier, which is the result of joint work between Xiaomi and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is equipped with a 4.3-inch color LCD screen, on which it is possible to view air quality data in real time. .

According to Xiaomi, the new MIJIA Ultra quickly purifies a 90-square-meter room in just 17 minutes. Other data revealed by the company expresses that the equipment provides a formaldehyde purification rate of 400m3/hour, and the solid-state formaldehyde sensor provides accurate readings on the integrated 4.3-inch screen.
The company also guarantees that the new purifier can be in operation for a whole day and that it has the capacity to supply up to 12,500 liters of clean air per minute.
On the other hand, the four sets of integrated high-energy plasma generators together with the UV lamps not only disinfect the system, but also remove noxious odors from both the equipment and the environment around the user.
For now, the new MIJIA Ultra is only available in the Chinese market for a starting price of 4,799 yuan, about 695 euros, which will later rise to 5,499 yuan, about 800 euros approximately. Unfortunately, the brand has not provided information on the global availability of this product.
