We are only two days away from the launch of Xiaomi’s high-end smartphones for 2022. The Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12 Pro will be officially unveiled on December 28.
At this point in the championship, there are already numerous confirmations of the Xiaomi 12 specifications. In addition to the information leaks and rumors, the Xiaomiui’s page presented what the expected full specifications for the smartphone will be.
Xiaomi 12 with 6.28 “inch AMOLED screen
An important detail, and already confirmed, is the reduction of the screen from 6.81 “of the Xiaomi Mi 11 to 6.28” inches in this model. It will be an AMOLED panel, with Full HD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 + and 1500 nits of maximum brightness. It will have Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
Another confirmed detail is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. This will be accompanied by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Variants with 8 and 12 GB of RAM, and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage are expected.
A 4500mAh battery is expected, charging 67W wired, 30W wireless and 10W reverse. Like the previous generation, it will feature stereo speakers developed in conjunction with the Harman Kardon.
The smartphone will have a 32 MP front camera, featuring GAN skin rejuvenation technology. At the rear we can have a 50 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide camera and even a telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom.
As expected, the Xiaomi 12 will leave the factory with the MIUI 13 based on Android 12. Next Tuesday we will be able to confirm all these details, as well as the price of the smartphone.
