Users woke up to a broken X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday. The issues started around 2:20 PM.
People in several countries, including Spain, reported problems. They couldn’t use the app or website. A site called Downdetector tracked the issues. It showed problems with both the mobile app and website.
Reports poured in
By 2:35 PM, users in Spain had filed over 3,200 reports. France had similar issues, with over 3,000 reports. The US had the most, with over 12,500 reports. Italy and the UK also had problems, with 1,450 and 9,000 reports, respectively.
When users tried to reload the app, they saw an error message. It said “something went wrong” and asked them to try again. X hasn’t commented on the issues yet.
Global outage
The problem seems to be worldwide. Many countries are affected. Users are waiting for X to fix the issue. For now, the social media platform remains down.
