A total of 10 teams will participate in the World Cup qualifiers, while through this qualifier two teams will secure their place in the main round of the World Cup. Apart from this, 10 teams have been divided into two groups of five teams each.

Apart from Zimbabwe, the West Indies, the Netherlands, Nepal and the United States were placed in Group A. While Group B has teams from Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Oman and the United Arab Emirates. According to the ICC schedule, all teams will play one-on-one in the group stage and then the top three teams from each group will advance to the Super Six stage. In the Super Six stage, you will play against those teams you have not played for in the group stage. Apart from this, the teams that reach the Super Six round will also get the points from the first stage victory over the teams that reach this stage of their group. At the same time, the two teams that reach the final will qualify for the 2023 World Cup.

According to the ICC schedule, matches in the tournament will be played at Queen’s Sports Club and Bulawayo Athletic Club in Bulawayo and Harare Sports Club and Takashinga Cricket Club in Harare. At the same time, a total of 34 matches will be played in this qualifying round. While on July 9, the final match will be played at the Harare Sports Club field. Zimbabwe will play Nepal at the Harare Sports Club on the first day of the tournament. Nepal’s eyes will be on qualifying for the 50+ World Cup for the first time. Aside from this, the West Indies, who have won the World Cup twice, will also take on neighboring country America at Takashinga Cricket Club on June 18.
