Yuvraj Singh, one of the best all-rounders in Indian cricket, on Friday dismissed reports that he might enter politics and contest from Gurdaspur seat in Punjab. He said his passion is to support and help people in need in many ways, which he will continue to do through his organization. He currently has no desire to get into politics.

42-year-old Yuvraj Singh posted on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) on Friday and said that contrary to media reports, I am not contesting the elections from Gurdaspur. My passion lies in supporting and helping people in need through various means and skills and I will continue to do this through my organization “YouWeCan”.
Earlier, some media reports said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) may field Yuvraj Singh from Gurdaspur seat. Currently, actor Sunny Deol is the BJP MP from this seat. However, this time Sunny refused to participate in the elections.
