WI vs ENG: England suffered major setback, captain Eoin Morgan ruled out of ongoing T20 series against West Indies

England cricket team T20 captain Eoin Morgan will not play in the last two matches of the ongoing T20 series against the West Indies. The England Cricket Board has issued an official statement saying that Morgan has a lower quadriceps injury and he will be out of the field for the last two games.

Due to this injury, he was also unable to play in the third T20. Moeen Ali captained the team in his place.

A scan of Morgan’s injury showed that his right thigh muscle had been injured. In such a situation, he will not be able to play in the rest of the games of this tour of the Antilles. However, the injury was reported as minor. In such a situation, the England countryside need not worry too much.

The ECB has issued an official statement saying that the multi-talented Moeen Ali will take over the team in Morgan’s absence.
