The India team and captain Rohit Sharma considered it right to enter the match along with goalkeeper KS Bharat. However, still a moment of Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma went viral on social media.

Actually, Ishan Kishan was assigned the duty of serving water and for this he entered the ground during the match. Talking about Ishan Kishan’s Test debut, before the start of the Ahmedabad match, many cricket experts believed that Ishan Kishan might get a chance to play his first career Test match in the last Test match of the series. He was projected to replace KS Bharat as goalkeeper as Bharat has been unable to bat well or hold wickets in the first three matches.

Even at the start of the fourth Test match, KS Bharat dropped a simple Travis Head catch to Umesh Yadav, after which fans started trolling him on social media and cricket pundits also started advocating for Ishan Kishan. However, when captain Rohit Sharma was asked about Ishan Kishan’s debut before the Ahmedabad test match, he said that whenever he (Ishan) gets a chance, he will get it. He’s not going to have to sit him down giving him a chance in just one or two games. It won’t be right.
