WhatsApp receives a piece of news that will save users a lot of time

WhatsApp remains the leading instant communications platform on the market with millions of active users. To keep them loyal to the service, new features are constantly being added to improve the user experience.

Now, we have a new message filter which is extremely useful for all WhatsApp users. Novelty that will cover all the platforms where this communications service can be used.

Whatsapp now allows you to filter unread messages

As WABetainfo points out, a new filter has arrived so that users can quickly access their unread messages. Ideal to be able to accompany large groups exactly where you left them.

WhatsApp

This option has been in the testing phase in the Android version since last week or on the desktop for two weeks. However, it has only now reached WhatsApp beta users with an iPhone.

As we can see in the shared image, there will be a button, in the upper right corner, for users to filter their messages. This is where you can select the “Unread” option.

Once activated, only those messages that the user has not read will be displayed. A tool that will help you keep up to date with news quickly and without having to read repeated correspondence.

It is important to note that with this filter active, the results of any search will meet the same condition. That is, only messages that WhatsApp users have not yet read and that meet the desired search parameters will also be displayed here.

When this condition is no longer needed, there will be a button that will allow the user to “Clear Filter”. As the name suggests, this will quickly remove any conditions set to display messages you’ve received on WhatsApp.

The new filter of unread messages will be transversal to all the platforms where it is possible to use WhatsApp. Novelty that should arrive soon to the stable channel of the platform.
