Moscow: Russia’s ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov has said that sanctions imposed by the United States cannot intimidate us.

Russia’s ambassador to Russia, Anatoly Antonov, said in response to media questions that the US Congress had called for new sanctions against Russia, including sanctions on the country’s leadership, which would not intimidate Moscow.

“We believe that the demands for the imposition of anti-Russian sanctions on Capitol Hill, as well as personal sanctions against the top leadership of the Russian Federation, are provocative and hopeless,” he said in a statement posted on the Russian embassy’s Facebook page. ۔

“Under no circumstances will we be intimidated by US sanctions,” he said.

It should be noted that the recent high-level talks between Russia and the United States on the Ukrainian conflict in Geneva had once again ended inconclusively.
