Vivo is making waves again, launching a new budget smartphone called the Y50i. This phone promises high performance and a smooth display. It runs on a powerful processor and packs a really big battery. All of this comes at a price that won’t break the bank.

The Y50i features a large 6.74-inch LCD screen. It delivers HD+ resolution. The display gets super bright, reaching up to 1,000 nits. What really stands out is its 90 Hz refresh rate. This means everything on screen looks extra smooth, showing up to 90 frames per second.
This screen also reacts quickly to your touch. It boasts a 180 Hz touch response rate. It includes DC Dimming technology to adjust brightness fast. There’s also a Dark Mode for comfortable viewing. Plus, it has TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light. This helps keep your eyes from getting tired during long use.

Under the hood, the Y50i uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. This is a solid mid-range chip, built using 6nm technology. It has eight processing cores working together.
- Two Cortex-A76 cores run at up to 2.4 GHz. These handle your everyday tasks with full power.
- Six Cortex-A55 cores run at up to 2.0 GHz. They focus on saving battery life.
This chip teams up with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Keeping the lights on is a massive 6,000 mAh battery. It supports 15 W charging. This huge battery means you can easily use the phone all day. The device also carries an IP64 rating. This protects it from dust and splashes of water from any direction.

For snapping photos, the Y50i has a 13-megapixel main camera. A 5-megapixel front camera is perfect for selfies and clear video calls. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4. The phone runs on OriginOS 5, which is based on Android 15. This system comes packed with smart AI tools. For example, it can even remove objects from your pictures.

Vivo launched the Y50i in China. You can choose from three cool colors: Diamond Black, Azure, and Platinum. The model with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage costs 1,499 Yuan.
