Vivo will expand the portfolio with Vivo X80 Lite and Vivo X80 Pro+

The Chinese manufacturer that has just unveiled its top-of-the-range model VivoX80 Pro It will be preparing at least two new models for this series. Apparently, in October 2022 we will have a more affordable model and another premium for the most demanding consumers.

The most affordable will naturally be the Vivo X80 Lite, a smartphone that should integrate Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. According to leaks, this model is currently in development, but should also arrive in October.

Vivo X80 Pro is the current top-of-the-range model from the Chinese manufacturer to arrive in Portugal.

On the other hand, the Vivo X80 Pro+ model should improve some aspects compared to the current Vivo X80 Pro recently presented, opting here for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It will necessarily be the most expensive model of the current X80 range recently presented.

It is important to emphasize that this information was advanced for the first time by the publication RootMyGalaxy who will have obtained privileged information. Apparently, we will have at least two new smartphone models to complete the current range, which indicates the manufacturer’s confidence in its new devices.

Still looking at the Lite model, we can find Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processors, or MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100, depending on the market they are intended for. In any case, the performance of both will be at the level of other mid/high-end Android smartphones launched in 2022.

The Vivo X80 Lite model will bring the smartphone to a wider audience

The flagship Vivo X80 line will be replenished with the Lite model. The source expects the novelty to be based on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC or any Dimension platform and receive up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory.

This mobile device can also have up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. It will also have a strong emphasis on camera and build quality, thus accompanying the current X80 range.

Unfortunately, at the moment we have no information about its possible retail price. Therefore, we will have to wait for its (expected) presentation next October, or for the publication of new information.
