Vitor Roque has no intention of leaving FC Barcelona

Vitor Roque’s agent Andrey Cury has dismissed suggestions that the young striker could be ready to leave Barcelona on loan. The 19-year-old Roque arrived at Camp Nou at the start of 2024 hoping to immediately fight for a place in the first team. However, his impact on the team was not as great as expected, as he managed just one start and ten substitute appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals in February.

Despite his limited playing time, Roque is determined to succeed at Barcelona and his agent says he is not interested in a loan deal. According to Cury, the young striker is happy at the club and is waiting for the opportunity to prove himself on the field. Although several clubs are rumored to be willing to pay up to €50 million for Roque, his intention is to stay at Barcelona and make a name for himself there.

Although Barcelona could consider loaning Roque for a sizeable loan fee, especially given their efforts to meet their financial commitments to La Liga, the firm stance of the player and his agent makes this option unlikely. Furthermore, with the possible departure of Xavi as coach, Roque could increase his importance in the team as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

Although Roque has not been called up for Brazil’s international matches recently due to his lack of playing time with Barcelona, he is still considered a promising talent at home and abroad. His decision to stay at Barcelona shows his determination to succeed at the club and contribute to the team’s long-term success.
