Vitor Roque, great future but quiet at Barcelona

Young Brazilian striker Vitor Roque today celebrates two months since his move to Barcelona, a period full of anticipation and patience. Since arriving in the January market, Roque has worked hard to adapt to both the team and the demanding atmosphere of LaLiga and the city of Barcelona. Although his minutes on the pitch were limited, his presence left a notable impression on Barcelona fans.

Roque has taken part in nine of the fourteen games Barcelona have played in 2024, although he only started in one of them, the game against Celta. His playing time was mainly focused on the league, with just eight minutes in the Copa del Rey against Unionistas. However, despite his short time on the pitch, Roque has managed to attract attention, especially with his goals against Osasuna and Alavés, thus contributing to Barça’s cause.

Promising future at Camp Nou

The young striker, who turned 19 on Wednesday, has expressed his desire to succeed with Barcelona in the Champions League, a dream he wants to make come true by wearing the Barça jersey. Despite his short experience, Roque has proven to be a valuable asset to the team, receiving praise from both the coaching staff and his teammates, highlighting his potential and contribution to the team.

Barcelona invested heavily in Roque last summer and signed a million-dollar contract that ties him to the club until 2031. Although he was initially expected to join the team next summer, Gavi’s injury accelerated his integration and showed the trust the club has in his talent and his ability to make a difference on the field.
