Virat Kohli has shared an emotional post on social media after the end of the team’s journey this IPL season. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) missed out on a playoff spot as they were beaten by Gujarat Titans (GT) by 6 wickets in their last league match. Once again the fans of the RCB team had to be disappointed with the team’s performance this season. In his post thanking the fans of the RCB team, Kohli has written about coming back strong next season.

Virat Kohli wrote in his May 23 tweet that there were moments this season that can never be forgotten, but we fell short of our goal. We are definitely disappointed, but we must keep our heads up. I am grateful to the loyal fans of the team. I would also like to thank my team, coach, management and fellow players. Our goal is to come back stronger next time.

This IPL season turned out to be very good for Virat Kohli as a batsman. In the match against Gujarat, he too was seen for a hundred innings with his bat. But due to Shubman Gill’s century, RCB had to face defeat in this match. With the loss of RCB, the Mumbai Indians managed to qualify for the playoffs.

Kohli has scored a total of 639 runs in 14 innings this season. Where 2 consecutive innings of the century were seen from his bat. At the same time, he also managed to score 6 half centuries. Virat Kohli has now risen to number one in terms of scoring the most centuries in the IPL, in which a total of 7 centuries are now recorded in his name.
