A dominating chase
RCB got off to a flying start, thanks to Salt and Kohli’s 92-run opening stand. Salt smashed 65 off 33 balls, hitting five fours and six sixes. Kohli remained steady, scoring 62 not out off 45 balls with four fours and two sixes.
After Salt’s dismissal, Kohli teamed up with Devdutt Padikkal to seal the win. Kohli’s 62 and Padikkal’s 40 off 28 balls put the game beyond Rajasthan’s reach. The Royals used seven bowlers, but only Kumar Kartikeya managed to take a wicket.
Kohli overshadows Yashasvi Jaiswal
Yashasvi Jaiswal’s efforts were overshadowed by Virat Kohli’s stellar performance. Kohli’s knock was instrumental in RCB’s victory, while Jaiswal struggled to make an impact. Kohli’s experience and class ultimately paid off, as RCB secured a convincing win.
