Government websites went down on Sunday afternoon. Some sites were unavailable or couldn’t be accessed.

Websites were back up by 2:30 pm.
Government sources told News Agency that the Electronic Government and Information and Knowledge Society Agency (Agesic) is working on the case. They’re also looking at other vulnerabilities like hacking. But no details were given.
Earlier on Sunday, the government’s energy efficiency website was hacked.
On Saturday, an 18-year-old was charged with 180 days of preventive prison for hacking government and private company websites. The police investigation led to his arrest. He had no prior record. He’s believed to have hacked the Ministry of Social Development website on March 25, 2025, and other sites like Buquebus and the Ministry of Public Health.
The court ordered the teenager’s imprisonment for 180 days. He was arrested on Thursday.
