A 13-year-old girl is fighting for her life after being shot in the abdomen. It happened on Wednesday at noon in the Bella Italia neighborhood. She’s in the hospital now, in critical condition.
The police got the news from witnesses. They say the shooters were two men who got away. They used a handgun.
The girl wasn’t the only one hurt. Her 28-year-old brother-in-law got shot in the arm. He’s getting treatment at a clinic.
The police are reviewing security footage from the area. There are cameras on the streets where it happened – Turín and Cicerón. They’re trying to figure out what happened.
