Umran Malik-Arshdeep Singh set for ODI debut, find out who will get chance to play XI

The first match of the three ODI series between India and New Zealand will be played on November 25. This match between the two teams will take place in Auckland. Regular captain Rohit Sharma has been rested for this series. In his absence, Shikhar Dhawan will captain the India team. Apart from Rohit, Virat Kohli will also not play in this series. This is the perfect opportunity to experiment with team management. In the first ODI, there is a war on who will get a chance to debut, Arshdeep Singh or Umran Malik. While Kuldeep Sen is also there as an option.

Umran Malik was part of the India team in the T20 series that played against New Zealand. But he didn’t get a chance to play in a single game. While on the other hand Arshdeep Singh participated in the T20 series. Apart from this, he also played in the T20 world. Captain Shikhar Dhawan knows that Umran has been waiting for the opportunity for a long time. In such a situation, he can debut in the first ODI. On the other hand, fast bowlers have dominated the New Zealand courts. Umran has been bowling mainly at the speed of 150 km per hour in IPL. In such a situation, he can be effective for India in the ODI series.

If Arshdeep does not get a chance to make his ODI debut, then the Indian team’s playing XI may look like this. Shikhar Dhawan (captain), Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (goalkeeper), Sanju Samson, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Umran Malik, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal.
