3 Moscow: A drone has attacked the petrol depot of the military airport in the city of Kursk, Russia. Soldiers were killed in the attack by the Ukrainian army.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that two Russian air bases in the center of the country were attacked by Ukrainian drones, in which three Russian soldiers were killed.

The statement said that on Monday morning, “Kyiv government launched Soviet-designed drone attacks on Diaghilev airbase in Ryazan region and Angels base in Saratov region, killing 3 Russian soldiers as a result of these attacks.”

Reports said the explosion occurred at a base that housed strategic bombers capable of carrying nuclear weapons. These planes took part in launching attacks against Ukraine.

On the other hand, a drone attack has been carried out on the petrol depot of the military airport in Kursk, Russia. The governor of Kursk, Roman Starovet, has said in a statement issued by Telegram that a petrol depot caught fire as a result of a drone attack on the Kursk airport. However, there was no loss of life in the attack and efforts are on to extinguish the fire.

It should be remembered that on February 24 this year, Russian troops launched an attack on Ukraine, after which both sides continued to launch air and ground attacks on each other’s facilities.
