A Portuguese referee team has been appointed by UEFA to officiate a crucial World Cup 2026 qualifier between the Netherlands and Lithuania, where the Dutch side aims to secure direct qualification.
Luís Godinho will serve as the central referee for the Group G match. He will be assisted by Rui Teixeira and Pedro Mota.
Fábio Veríssimo has been named as the fourth official. André Narciso will be the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), with Fábio Melo serving as the Assistant Video Assistant Referee (AVAR).
The Netherlands enters this final qualifying game seeking to clinch a direct spot in next year’s World Cup. The team currently holds a three-point lead over Poland in Group G.
The match is scheduled for Monday at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam. Kick-off is set for 7:45 PM local time.
