Date 4 of the YPF Women’s Soccer Championship was completed this Monday with the triumphs of Gimnasia La Plata and Excursionistas, the first of both in the contest.
The cast from La Plata beat Lanús 4-2 at the Juan Carmelo Zerillo stadium and reached 4 points thanks to goals from midfielder Lucía Guiñazú (at 14 minutes), captain Lali Esquivel (at 20 and 55) and Florencia Sánchez (at 91). While Sofía Giannini (at 58) and Evelyn Almirón (at 74) discounted for Garnet (one point), which ended with 10 players due to the expulsion of Camila Leites (at 85).
Excursionistas, for their part, beat El Porvenir 1-0 with a celebration by Macarena Latorre and adds three units, although they owe a game. The match was quite eventful and had four expelled: Noelia Pianovi for Excursionistas and Mariángeles Díaz, Micaela Ayala and Martina Carranza in El Porvenir (one point).
Thus, the contest has three leaders with 10 points each: UAI Urquiza, who drew 0-0 with Platense and maintains an undefeated fence in the tournament; San Lorenzo, who repeated the result in the classic with Huracán; and Boca, who took advantage of the remainder of their rivals and went up after beating Belgrano de Córdoba 1-0.
Behind them are the surprising Ferro and Independiente, with 9 points.
