It is said that if Indians stop working there, Arab countries will stop. Now a good news is coming out about employment in UAE, one of the Arab countries. According to a report by Cooper Fitch, the second quarter of 2022 saw a 10 percent increase in job creation in the UAE compared to the first quarter.
Along with this, there has also been an increase in employment generation in other Gulf countries. According to the report, Bahrain increased by nine percent, Oman by six percent, Qatar by four percent and Saudi by three percent. However, in the second quarter of this year, Kuwait’s job market declined by two percent.
The report cited various reforms such as the Golden Visa as the main reason behind this growth in the UAE. Due to these reforms good investment is coming in the country and investors are getting good returns on their investments.
Huge profit from rising oil prices
Along with this, the economy of UAE is growing at a very strong pace due to rising oil prices in the global market. The country’s economy grew at 8.2 per cent during the first quarter. Along with this, it is being estimated that this year the country’s GDP will increase by 5.4 percent due to fear. The reason behind this has been attributed to the ever-increasing oil prices and the government’s promise to double the production of oil by the year 2031. In addition, the UAE’s Monthly Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) has also shown a positive trend in job creation in the country.
More employment opportunities will be created now
According to the Cooper Fitch report, the largest number of new jobs were created in marketing, data cloud, public sector, software development, cyber security and finance.
Along with this, the report has predicted that in the coming times, thousands of jobs will come in new sectors including 40,000 in the metaverse alone in the country. In addition, the UAE will also create opportunities for 100,000 coders.
