Twitter is offering free ads to brands that advertise on its platform. It is an attempt to attract brands to the social network, which has seen its advertising business deteriorate after the acquisition of Elon Musk, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday. Since then the company has suffered a spectacular drop in revenue. In the month of November there was talk of a loss of 4 million euros per day.

Big companies like Volkswagen, United Airlines, Eli Lilly, Pfizer and Mondelez, have stopped betting on advertising on Twitter in recent weeks. Thus, they have distanced themselves alleging, among other things, the uncertain direction that it has taken with the landing of Musk. The new advertising campaign can be used during the week of the final of the super bowl, which will take place on Sunday, February 12. This event is known to be the biggest revenue day for the social network.
