Turkish rescue workers rescued a 14-year-old boy and two men 11 days after the earthquake, a Turkish minister said on Friday.

Health Minister Farhatin Koka said in a Twitter message that 14-year-old Usman has been rescued after 260 hours.

He shared a photo of Osman lying on a stretcher with his eyes open, the Turkish minister said, adding that the boy had been transferred to a hospital in Antakya.

According to the report, an hour after Osman was rescued, two men aged 26 and 33 were also pulled alive from the wreckage in Antakya.

According to the authorities, more than 42 thousand people have been killed by the devastating earthquake of 7.8 magnitude on February 6.
