According to Indian media reports, Renu’s husband used to work in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The woman used to blow the money sent by her husband by betting on the lido, but one day she ran out of money, after which she committed suicide. He put it on and lost the game.
The report states that the woman later got worried and called her husband to inform about the matter, after which the husband immediately came to his house and filed a complaint with the police.
The husband of the woman said that he had gone to Jaipur for a job 6 months ago, they have two children but now since the wife lost the bet, he is staying with the landlord.
