Riyadh: The Saudi government has conditionally allowed certain categories of people in travel-restricted countries to enter the kingdom directly.
According to Arab media reports, Saudi Arabia has allowed people from various countries to come directly from the travel ban countries. The government is making extraordinary efforts to prevent the spread of the corona virus, an Interior Ministry official said.
The official said that teaching staff, teaching staff in universities, colleges and institutes and teachers of schools can come directly to Saudi Arabia but the hotel quarantine has to be observed after reaching here.
Similarly, trainers affiliated to higher technical and vocational training institutes and trainers affiliated to training institutes, scholarship students can also come to the country, they will also be vaccinated during Hotel Quarantine.
The Saudi Interior Ministry official also said the Hotel Quarantine would be exempt for those who had completed or received a dose of the vaccine within the kingdom.
He further said that everyone should take precautionary measures against corona virus and adhere to SOPs and not show negligence in enforcing hygiene regulations.
It should be noted that in addition to the above categories, individuals have to stay in a country for 14 days before coming to Saudi Arabia, where they have been allowed by the Saudi government, after which they will be able to come to the kingdom.
