More than 100,000 Sikhs voted in the Khalistan referendum in Toronto, Canada. Due to rush and traffic jam, thousands of people could not participate in polling.
On Sunday, voting on the Khalistan referendum in Toronto began with a special prayer. On this occasion, the Sikh leaders said that after Toronto, referendum will be held in other cities of Canada.
Thousands of Sikhs were stuck in traffic jams and could not cast their votes due to the large number of Sikhs arriving in Toronto.
The leader of Sikhs for Justice Gurptunat Singh said that India should understand the thinking of Sikhs by participating in such a large number of Sikhs in the referendum, Sikhs have expressed their hatred towards India by voting.
Earlier, the Sikh community in many European countries, including the United Kingdom, have announced their independence from India through a referendum.
All efforts by India to stop the Khalistan referendum in Toronto went in vain. The Canadian government had made it clear that people are allowed freedom of expression and the Khalistan referendum cannot be stopped.
