Tony Stark back for Avengers 5 and 6 but without Robert Downey Jr? | Geek Lands

It’s the crazy rumor of the day. The death of Tony Stark and the departure of Robert Downey Jr. from mcu has left a huge void in the hearts of fans, despite the more important positions taken by certain executives of the universe like Anthony Mackie (Falcon) and Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange). However, the return of the iconic comedian has long been hoped for by fans. If the principal concerned is not against, it may be more complicated than expected. Especially since the character is about to be digitally replaced by iron heart in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever who has roughly the same talent as his counterpart for creating armor. Marvel seems to have thus made the choice of succession by finally introducing Riri Williams.

However, the desire to please the fans almost pushed Marvel to take the step of a new Iron Man on the big screen. According to the sources of Giant Freakin’ Robot and some Insiders close to Hollywood sets, Marvel would start eyeing a young actor in his 20s or 30s who could portray the youthful version of Tony Stark, who would arrive from another universe. The character would be planned for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. Still according to the webzine’s internal sources, Marvel would still not have made its choice in view of the time at their disposal to launch the construction of these two cross-overs but would be eyeing the rising popularity of joseph quinnwhich interprets Eddie Munson in Stranger Things.

Rumors to be taken with a grain of salt, however, in the absence, for the moment, of official confirmation from Marvel Studios, which will probably not announce the casting of The Kang Dynasty for a few years.
