The third day of the Tirreno-Adriatico will also present us with a long route of 216 kilometers between Follonica and Foligno. The non-pointable ascent to Roccastrada and the cataloged ascents of Passo del Lume Spento and La Foce could encourage ambushes to form in the first 113 kilometers, although the second part of the route, without great difficulties, increases the options for sprinters to get the sprint victory in Foligno.

Stage 4: Greccio – Tortoreto (Thursday, March 9)

The sixth stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico could also hold surprises for us on a 193-kilometre route between Osimo Stazione and Osimo. It will be a route in which the ascent to the Santa Maria del Monte level and the passage through Macerata could encourage the formation of a breakaway before entering the final circuit of Osimo, which will be completed three times and which includes a level of a kilometer at 15% with peaks of up to 22%.

Stage 7: San Benedetto del Tronto – San Benedetto del Tronto (Sunday, March 12)
