Asad Rauf from Pakistan, who has umpired 49 tests, 98 ODIs and 23 international T20s in a 13-year refereeing career, now sells shoes in the Pakistani market. Asad Rauf has a shop in Landa Bazaar, Lahore. where he sells some clothes and shoes. Inside his shop, he spoke to that Pakistani channel and said: ‘When I’ve fed myself all my life, then who has to watch now. I quit cricket from 2013 onwards…because I always quit whatever job I do. It is worth noting that in 2016, the BCCI disciplinary committee suspended him for 5 years after he was found guilty of rigging, receiving gifts from bookmakers, and other misdeeds.

Rauf accuses BCCI itself of fixing the IPL!

Speaking about the allegations, including involvement in IPL dispute resolution and receiving gifts from bookmakers, Rauf said: “I had nothing to do with them.” It came from his (BCCI) side and he (BCCI) made the decision. The Pakistani arbitrator clearly said that all these accusations were made against me by the BCCI and then they decided on it themselves. Although he had nothing to do with it.
