This is the system we use in our house to lower the temperature of the rooms. It has been working for a few years and needed maintenance. Therefore, it is the ideal time to tell you how it works and what benefits it brings us.
How much does this air conditioning cool?
As for the temperature difference, I can tell you that it is between 5°C and 15°C, but it varies greatly, with the average temperature in summer in the Octagon being 20°C to 25°C. Of course it is hotter at midday.
The good thing about these systems is that we can make them more efficient by lengthening the channels, going deeper, or making them pass through bodies of water. The limit is indeed in the imagination. Some know this system as a Canadian well or a Provençal well. I preferred not to label it and gave it a more general name so you can find more information. That’s why I used the term “geothermal climate control.”
