Wade has said goodbye to red-ball cricket but will continue to play white-ball cricket. Matthew Wade could be Australia’s wicketkeeper in the 2024 T20 World Cup to be played in June this year. He won the lost match for Australia by defeating Shaheen Afridi in the 2021 T20 World Cup. Wade is part of the Gujarat Titans team in the IPL.

Wade took 442 catches and 21 stumpings in first-class cricket.
