The Ministry of Labor invited interested persons to participate in the fair and employment day that will be held this Friday, October 7in Santiago and La Altagracia.
They will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
In The Altagracia Resumes will be received at the Higüey Territorial Employment Office (OTE), located on Agustín Guerrero esq. Beller on the second level of the government offices.
In this fair they will be offering 20 vacancies availablein functions like: Warehouse and Returns Coordinator, applicants must be university students with experience in the area or similar positions; warehouse assistants, they must be Bachelors and have experience in storage or similar positions.
Also requested: Category 3 licensed drivers in good standing, forklift driver with a current category 2 driver’s license and forklift experience, both must have passed 8th grade; merchandisers, who are university students with experience in the area and immediate availability.
In addition to, cashiers who are high school or university students with experience in points of sale; ranch vendors, who are high school graduates or university students with a current category 2 driver’s license; and custodians with approved eighth grade and immediate availability.
the fair of Santiago has 134 vacancies availablewhich are: sewing machine mechanic with knowledge of sewing machines, experience in the manufacturing industry and in the area of 2 years; Y maintenance man with advanced knowledge of industrial maintenance, experience of at least 3 years in the manufacturing industry, both positions with a technical educational level.
This will be carried out in the regional management of the National Professional Technical Institute (Infotep), in Estrella Sadhalá esq.Hatuey.
Also, you need: Station Manager with a degree in Business Administration or related careers, minimum experience of 2 years and handling of office package; service representative with experience in the area; experienced store clerk and immediately available janitor, applicants for these openings must have a passing 8th grade.
Likewise, the following are requested: automotive installer with knowledge in automotive electricity and schedule availability; security officer who must reside in Santiago; and service advisor with computer management.
In addition, they are required: Store assortment assistants, attention and customer service, prepared foods, meats, bakery and deli; Applicants must be high school graduates, with availability to work evening and morning hours, and experience in customer service.
The Ministry of Labor clarifies that the recruitment process depends on each companysome of them take a little longer, due to the nature of their vacancies.
The Minister of Labor, Luis Miguel De Camps García, has given instructions so that during the fairs a workshop on “Techniques for job search” so that the participants can be oriented on how to organize their resumes and how to handle interviews.
